Amelio is India's first focused on-site childcare services provider. We work with Companies to identify the problems employees face in balancing their work and home. If our analysis reveals that child daycare is an integral part of the solution, we assist our clients in creating and managing daycares on-site or near-site.

The Team

Sridevi

Sridevi returned to India upon her graduation with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2008 to start Amelio. Sridevi has a diverse work experience which enriched her exposure and thinking along businesses in India. Having started her career in advertising with Ogilvy and Mather, Sridevi shifted trajectory, and worked in a few non-profits such as CRY and CARE in India before her MBA. Sridevi greatly enjoys travelling and reading.

Raghavan

Raghavan is an experienced entrepreneur and successfully ran a trading firm in finished leather. Some of his clients were high-end fashion houses in Europe. Raghavan worked in Hong Kong managing the Far East operations of one of India's largest leather product manufacturers. Having started his career in publishing and the media, Raghavan has a diverse and strong experience in working on challenging assignments and growing businesses in India and abroad.

Raghavan is passionate about antique cars and Jeeps.

Dr. Mangala Ayre

Mangala Ayre has 30 years of experience as a teacher, and specialises in kindergarten and pre-school teaching. In 1988, she established the renowned Inner Harmony Holistic Learning Centre for children in the 2-5 year age group. She is a counsellor for teachers and parents, and a consultant in various schools in Tamil Nadu. Ayre has developed various alternative teaching methods using music, storytelling, dance, and drama for children with disabilities.

Jane Miller

Jane has decades of experience in senior management positions with large IT companies in India such as Patni, HP and IBS, where she headed Corporate Communications. Jane was also a Consultant and has conducted workshops and sessions on relationship building, business strategies, communication guidelines etc. She has also organized and conducted counseling sessions on effective parenting. Jane is an alumnus of IIM Kozhikode and has also done executive development programmes from XLRI and IIM Bangalore. Jane heads center operations at Amelio.

EMA seeks horizontally across geographies and categories for investment opportunities. EMA has invested in venture capital start-ups, small leveraged buy-outs, foreign businesses and purchases of secondary stock in private companies.
